Dreibelbis Station Covered Bridge The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is soliciting comments on a
proposal to repair the Dreibelbis Covered Bridge in Berks County (World
Guide #38-06-07). The current plan is to remove the historic abutments and
replace them with new concrete ones and replace the timber floor system with
steel beams. This will ruin the historic integrity of the structure. An open
house to discuss the project will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at
the Greenwich Township Building, 775 Old Route 22, Lenhartsville, PA 19534
from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
